PitchGround presents IMGHaste - A tool that provides you with the optimization service for your website with faster speed and CDN. And, no coding is required!

Τ. Vafeiadis, CEO at Thrakis Paratiritis - Just migrated all our websites with Imghaste (from another image service)
K. Poulis, CEO at The Press Project - We are running a website of 1.2TB of image material on a dedicated server. One beautiful morning the server crashed for good. After consulting Imghaste we managed to have it restored within the hour. Images were served by the Imghaste backup storage system until we restore the whole website content from our archive. It took 2 days to unzip everything, meanwhile our WordPress was active.
S. Anastasiadis, MD at HostChefs - We never had the time to do Image Optimizations for our website. Using Imghaste, we accomplished a 60% size reduction and blazing fast deliveries. Saved us valuable time and resources.

What makes IMGHaste stand out?
- As of today, IMGHaste is the only Image Optimization Service that’s working transparently without URL Rewrite using Client Hints and Service worker. IMGHaste team are early adopters of the new browsers’ specifications and believe to make the internet a better place.
How can I integrate IMGHaste to my website?
Integration can take place using two different approaches. You can use IMGHaste's innovative service worker on your website. It’s a turn-key solution that automatically feeds your client with optimized photos instead of the ones that you have placed on your website.
If you are a WordPress user you can install IMGHaste's WP Plugin. Please, take a look at the Docs on how to integrate section and follow the quick start guide here: Quickstart guide.
How does your billing model work?
IMGHaste only charge users when an optimization request has arrived to our servers. One (1) credit is required per optimization request. All optimized assets are cached to our Global Delivery Network for 30 days, and no more requests are transmitted to IMGHaste core optimization servers for that period of time no matter the number of visitors.
Please mind that our service provides a personalized service. Images areÂ
a) auto resized,Â
b) auto convertedÂ
c) auto compressed
based on Client Hints. The most important one is the visitors' screen resolution (mobile, tablet, laptop, desktop and more). So, an image might exist in 3 versions based on its dimensions. Each version must be optimized by IMGHaste and each version of it is handled as a different image.
An image might exist in one only version but it might exist in multiple versions based on its original dimensions and each visitor screen resolution.Â
Moreover, a version of an image is depending on the next factors (Client Hints)
visitors' screen resolution
visitors' screen Device Pixel Ratio (DPR)
visitors' browser compatibility (avif, webp, progressive jpeg, interlaced png)
visitors' internet connection speed
IMGHaste requires
1 credit = 1 request that arrives to IMGHaste (once per 30 days) for each version of the image request
IMGHaste uses multi CDN across the globe with a caching hit ratio of 98%. We only charge for the requests we receive in our cluster (the 2% remaining). We don't charge for any further images served by our CDN edge servers.
For example, if you have 75.000 Image Optimization Credits available on your account, you can serve 25.000 master images in 3 different view port sizes. (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile)
I am not a developer or have a developer, can you help me?
IMGHaste can be easily integrated to all websites that have a valid SSL Certificate (served via https://). IMGHaste is platform independent and can be easily integrated by installing our IMGHaste WordPress Plugin or by following three simple steps on manual integration instructions.
Or, you can contact our support team.
Does IMGHaste charge for Bot Traffic?
- No. Bots can’t detect IMGHaste. (Which is good for your website)
Does IMGHaste charge for additional Bandwidth?
- No. Unless you are actively abusing the bandwidth service (which is abnormal), IMGHaste won't you email otherwise.
What are IMGHaste's requirements to run?
- Just two requirements:
What is an Image Optimization Credit?
- IMGHhaste's business model works with Unmetered bandwidth using Multi-CDN in more than 500+ worldwide locations when you request an image from their service, it counts as an Image Optimization Credit. Then your image is cached on the Nearest Location for 30 days and it will not be requested again.
Isn't that amazing? Every other image service would charge you using Bandwidth or pageviews/sessions you will be charged only once.
My Website doesn’t run on PHP is it possible to integrate?
- Yes.
If I run out of Image Optimization Credits my images turn into 404?
- Under no circumstances.
How can I integrate IMGHaste to my website?
- Integration can take place using two different approaches.
My website is custom. Is it possible to integrate?
- Yes, IMGHaste's integration type is agnostic. You can use the turn-key solution using their service worker. Proceed with the Quickstart guide.
What types of images does IMGHaste service support?
- IMGHaste supports the most common image types.
Moreover, your images are optimized and converted automatically to the most suitable file type that the client’s browser supports. If the client's browser supports a webp file type format then your images will be served to the client in the webp format. As of today, there is 78% global support as for the rest, IMGHaste serves Progressive JPEGs or Interlaced PNGs.
How many websites can I add to my account?
- You can add unlimited websites to your account. All websites are sharing the same resources (Image Optimization Credits) of your account.
How much does IMGHaste service cost?
- IMGHaste.com uses multi CDN across the globe and is the only charge for the requests they receive in the resizing cluster. They don't charge for any further images served by the CDN edge servers. For example, if you have 75,000 Image Optimization Credits available on your account, you can serve 25,000 master images in 3 different viewport sizes. (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile).
Where does IMGHaste store my images?
- IMGHaste stores your images safely to S3 Amazon and B2 Backblaze while taking daily backups for maximum security. IMGHaste also provides secure integrations using your own S3 Buckets which is a feature that is available on paid plans.
What does 60,000 Image Optimization Credits mean?
- While most CDN / Image Services charge by bandwidth, IMGHaste's business model is based on per Image Optimization Credits.
For example, if you resize one image 100 times a day location it counts as 1 Image Optimization Credit.
Why can't I see score improvement at GTMetrix or Google Pagespeed Insights, even though my images load faster after installing the IMGHaste on my website?
- IMGHaste Service Worker acts as a middle-man between your visitors and your webserver. It is part of the White Label solution that they offer, to be 100% undetectable from bot traffic, search engines, and even competitors.
This way, your users will get all benefits, while you won’t suffer any sudden overcharges if a bot decides to crawl your website and all get all your image content. You pay only for user experience improvement.
On the other hand, bots and speed test tools that crawl your website do not register the IMGHaste service worker, as a result, that your website’s performance looks poor.
And finally, to share a secret here, Google indeed checks your speed performance but not directly the lighthouse tool, it gathers user data from GA metrics as well as collecting data from Google Chrome sampling (~2‰)
What's new at Imghaste?
Progressive Web Application (PWA) features through our new IMGHaste WordPress Plugin -
One of our new features is the PWA. Websites enhanced with IMGHaste can now take advantage of a standalone mobile application. IMGHaste provides the ability to install a standalone application with the functionality of your website, just like any other mobile application. Users can access your website content directly from their device without using a browser. PWAs also works as a constant reminder to the visitors, everytime they look at their cell phone, they will be able to look at your Branded Logo + your moto headline.
IMGHaste core improvements-
Several improvements have taken place this year on IMGHaste. The most important one, is the support of avif image filetype encoding, which makes IMGHaste steps ahead competitors who support only webp image encoding. IMGHaste encodes images to avif image filetype, if the visitor's browser supports it. Avif image file types support better image quality with higher compression rate than the popular webp image files types.
Extend our Global Content Delivery Network -
IMGHaste Global Content Delivery has been expanded providing more service nodes around the Globe. Moreover, we added compatibility for Business Plans of Cloudflare and other popular CDNs around the globe.
