What does CL1CK do, exactly?  

CL1CK is a website analytics platform that automates web data analysis to help companies generate more revenue. It tracks user behaviour and provides AI-driven explanations about your website’s business performance. 

CL1CK helps you save time and (painstaking) manual effort in data collection and visualization to understand how your website is performing. 

What is “CL1CK”?  

We named our platform CL1CK to signify how we help users discover helpful insights, one (1) click at a time! As opposed to traditional analytics platforms which require robust understanding of how to use different features, we ensure that our top-notch interface allows any user to understand most relevant statistics about what’s happening on their website within a few clicks.  

How do I use CL1CK?  

To use CL1CK, you need to simply install a tracking code on your website – that's all! The process takes around 5 minutes and our team has prepared helpful guides, which you can find here.

What is a CL1CK tracking code? 

CL1CK tracking code is a JavaScript snippet that needs to be installed on your website to enable CL1CK to start collecting important data, like website traffic, sessions and button clicks.

How to install your CL1CK tracking code?

CL1CK tracking code has to be installed on your website to enable us to start collecting data and showing your insights. CL1CK tracking code is a JavaScript snippet – once installed on your website, CL1CK can start collecting important data, like website traffic, sessions and button clicks.  

To install the tracking code, you can either follow one of our platform-specific guides, or manually install the tracking code.

What if my website hosting platform isn't listed on CL1CK?

We are working hard to ensure that CL1CK works with most platforms used to create websites. For platforms that are not listed above, you can simply follow the manual installation steps given here!

Why is my tracking code not getting verified? 

We would advise you to wait for 10 minutes before attempting to verify your tracking code. If it’s still unverified, the most probable reasons for this include: 

1. You have not pasted the code on the header section of your website

2. You have not visited or loaded your website after adding the tracking code

Why is my email not getting verified? 

After setting up your CL1CK account, you might not have verified your email with the verification code – if you can’t find the verification email in your inbox, please check your spam!

Why is my tracking code inactive? 

The most common reason is that you have not pasted the tracking code on the header section of your website – once done, it should activate automatically. 

When will I start seeing results?

For basic metrics, like traffic and bounce rate, you should start seeing results immediately! 

For more advanced metrics, like Session recordings are available after a session ends. Only the Analysis of Session Recordings require a minimum of 200 visitors

How do I add team member(s) to a project?

There are 2 ways you can manage your team on CL1CK:

1. Menu >> Manage Team, or

2. Project Menu >> Manage Access

Once here, you can add the email of your team member and select their team role. An email invite shall be sent to them – they can simply press the link mentioned in the email and sign up!

What are the different team member permissions?

There are 3 different roles: Owner, Admin and Viewer.

• Owners have full access to all websites in their workspace and can add team members as Owner, Admin or Viewer.
• Admins have control over adding Viewers and creating new projects.
• Viewers can only view the projects they have been given access to (by the Owner or Admin).

Can I change team member roles?

There are 2 ways you can manage your team on CL1CK:

1. Menu >> Manage Team, or

2. Project Menu >> Manage Access

• Owners can change any users' role (Owner, Admin or Viewer).
• Admin can only change any Viewers' role
• Viewer cannot change team member roles – they can only view the roles of their team.

How can I revoke team member access to a project?

There are 2 ways you can manage your team on CL1CK:

1. Menu >> Manage Team, or

2. Project Menu >> Manage Access

Simply uncheck them from a particular project, following which they will not have access to it. 

How to cancel my CL1CK plan?

Only the owner can choose to cancel the plan in their Account Settings. They can go to their Account Settings (under their profile name) and select Cancel Plan under the Project section.

Can I collaborate with others? 

You can invite team members to collaborate on a project and share your business/organization website data with your team. Check out our section for Account Management for further details.

What are the supported languages?  

At the moment, English is our only supported language. We look forward to expand our language categories in the near future. 

How safe is my data within CL1CK?  

100% secured! CL1CK takes data and visitor security very seriously. We have taken significant steps to ensure the security of data for our users. Check out our privacy policy to know more.

With which browser can you use CL1CK?  

For best experience, Google Chrome would be preferred but other browsers can also use CL1CK.

Would this replace GA or complement it?

CL1CK isn’t positioned the same as GA, as they are predominantly used for collecting data. Our direction is more of cleaning and sorting the data, even though we do have tracking functions itself. So to answer your question, depending on your role in your company and your company’s needs in website analytics, it could replace GA in your specific use cases. On the other hand, if you would like to use both, that could work too!

Am I correct in the assumption the ‘unlimited’ users could be accounts I am provisioning for my customers … and I would be able to limit their view to just their site?

yes that is correct. You can choose their role as “Viewer” so they can view the websites’ dashboard that you give them specific access to view (presumably their own!).

Do you support zapier or webhook?

We are planning it, and will know a more definitive launch date very soon.

Are you cookieless?

we store first party cookies, but all of our tracking is cookieless!

Do you provide any live view similar to GA?

Currently no live view. GA is focused on collecting and displaying lots of data (eg live view), but we are focused more on the downstream analysis tasks to save time and manual effort of data cleaning/analysis. CL1CK will update, very conservatively, within less than an hour when a visitor’s session ends!

what kind of actionable insight your tool can provide?

At our launch, we provide key takeaways of how your KPIs are performing against industry benchmarks or historic performances through alerts or simple reports. Our aim is to help you identify negative and positive areas of websites immediately. Eg “The CTR on your Sign Up button on your homepage is lower than industry average.” and “There is a higher probability for users to buy Product X when buying Product Y. You can consider cross-selling them”. We aim to have more recommendations in the future.

Any Whitelabel Report?

This is something we are considering in the future.

Do you support Shopify?

Yes we support Shopify alongside Wix, Wordpress, and self-developed websites. Currently we have an Upselling algorithm (similar to Amazon’s “Recommended for You”) to identify opportunities to increase your Average Basket Value.

Can I record the whole user journey?

Yes, you can access all screen recordings, heatmaps and scrollmaps on CL1CK. On top of that, by using the screen recordings, we can even identify the most/least clicked & hovered regions on your website!

How does tracking work and How deep can we track people?

The tracking works by simply copy and pasting a few lines of JavaScript code to the “Header” of your website. Our development team aims to keep it all on JavaScript code to minimize the loading time of your website!

Could this replace Analytics, or Does it pull data from those sources and presents them?

Yes it potentially can replace Google Analytics (that is our aim ). You can import your some of your historic GA data into CL1CK, but most importantly, we track other types of data that GA does not. For example, Session Recordings, Heatmaps etc. We do not position our product as an old-fashioned analytics dashboard.

Can we segment people and Do something with those segments?

Currently we have fundamental audience segmentation - channels, location, source etc. Deeper and complex segmentation is in the pipeline for Q2/3 2022. An example of this is automatically filtering your session recordings only for Buyers from Country X, Channel Y.

can I setup events?

CL1CK has key events pre-set already. For example, users that dead or rage clicked on certain parts of the website, or people that have bought on your e-commerce store (Shopify supported, and WooCommerce coming soon). We aim to limit the manual effort needed on the user side to set up tagging and event tracking. Again, we do this all with a JavaScript code. You also have the ability to create “Goals”, to create your own user journey, or more commonly known as Funnel Analysis

Can I track And segment people so I can target them with emails or ads?

We do track and segment people. Our pipeline includes key summaries of valuable visitors from certain segments (channels, locations, sources etc) behaving on your site, so you can identify the ones that are valuable to your business. We are not an ad or email tool, so we cannot directly send the emails or retarget them. However, we will be able to identify the valuable visitors so you can easily allocate your resources accordingly to your highest converting users. 

Does this do things in the same manner expanse and depth as adobe analytics/omniture?

Hi, CL1CK does have some similarities with Adobe Analytics, but we focus on getting “to the point” of what is happening on your website, with key takeaways and insights. Many of the analytics tools in the market require the user to spend manual effort and time to get the key takeaways, which is something we aim to mitigate.

Are your plans stackable?

No, our plans are not stackable.
